Our core QR code generator operates predominantly on a client-side model. For supported static QR generators:

• For supported static QR generators, the information you enter is encoded directly in your browser using client-side JavaScript, Canvas, and SVG APIs. The QR payload is not stored in our application database.
• When you download an SVG or PNG file, the rendering happens entirely in your local browser environment.

2. Server-Side Utility Processing

A few specialized helper tools require minimal transient network communication to function correctly:

• Google Maps URL Normalization: If you paste a shortened Google Maps share link (e.g., maps.app.goo.gl), our server resolves the standard canonical redirect destination to ensure the resulting QR code scans reliably across all devices. We do not intentionally store submitted location data in an application database.
• Developer API: If you use our optional programmatic developer API, the provided string is rendered into base64 image data in-memory and returned immediately without database persistence.

3. Information We Collect Automatically (Log Data)

Like virtually all web applications, when you browse our site, our hosting infrastructure and Edge CDN (Content Delivery Network) providers automatically collect standard web server access logs. This includes:

• Your browser type, operating system, and language settings.
• Referring URLs, requested pages, timestamps, and HTTP response status.
• IP addresses and other connection information may be processed by our hosting and CDN providers for security, abuse prevention, rate limiting, and service performance.
